This edition offers a panorama of some of the most representative artistic experiments and pursuits of the past twenty years. Visitors are offered an exploration of contemporary creativity, ranging from traditional genres - drawing, painting, sculpture - to photography and video projections, including installations and environments.

Seat of Rome Provincial Authorities since 1873, this building dates from the end of the sixteenth century and was subsequently enhanced by an extraordinary campaign of archaeological excavations whereby two big sculptures and two patrician villas, dating to the third-fourth century and the second century respectively, were brought back to light.
